After two years at the Geschwister Scholl Gymnasium Nossen, my time as an English teaching assistant has come to an end. I have thought long and hard about what to write but I think ultimately Winnie the Pooh says it best, "How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard."
From discussion groups, to lessons on grammar and American culture I have enjoyed each and every day with the wonderful students. In fact, because of this incredible experience I will continue to work in the field of education when I return to Seattle, Washington.
I want to thank Mr. Rosetz and Mr. Adler as well as the rest of the English department for all of the support. I came to Germany to teach but as I look back on my experience, I realize just how much I have learned.
